Elton John, Mumford and Sons Pay Tribute to Levon Helm with "The Weight" Performance at Grammys.

It's safe to say that you've had a substantial impact in the music industry when Elton John honors one of your songs, but a performance at the Grammys along side an all-star supporting cast takes it to a new level. Elton and crew honored Levon Helm, the late drummer of The Band who died from Cancer in April, and the rest of the musicians that had died in past year, last night at the 55th Grammy Awards with a beautiful cover of The Band's classic hit, "The Weight".

With Elton on piano, industry giants such as Mumford & Sons, Zac Brown, Brittany Howard of the Alabama Shakes, Mavis Staples and producer T Bone Burnett all contributed to an emotional cover in front of a touching slideshow chronicling the lives of the members of the music industry that had died. Helm died last April at the age of 71. Check out some highlights from the performance below:
