Vanna Sisounthone

A man who wore an evil clown mask while robbing convenience stores has been caught.

Sacramento cops arrested 43-year-old Vanna Sisounthone in connection with three robberies last month. The robber was originally called the “KISS” robber because surveillance video made his mask look similar to facepaint worn by the rock band.

During the first two robberies, he shot at employees and a witness who was attempting to write down Sisounthone’s car information.

At the third robbery, an elderly store clerk wrestled with the robber, tearing off his plastic, blue and white clown mask.

Investigators say it was thanks to the work at the Sacramento County crime lab that helped identify Sisounthone and tie him to the three robberies.
