Aerosmith may be in line for a performance on American Idol, which features Steven Tyler as one of its judges. Guitarist Brad Whitford says, "We've got a new song that's gonna be used in a major motion picture this summer... We may even debut it on American Idol in May."
Whitford says their new album is coming along well, too. "The music is done -- we're just waiting to get some of the vocals added in. Hopefully, we'll have that done sooner rather than later. It's been a decade since we last had new music out, and I know I'm ready for it."
