Signed to Atlantic Records in 1984 the band’s debut album “Out of the Cellar” went over 3x Platinum in 1984. World infestation had begun. Since 1983 to present the band has sold in excess of (15) million records in the US alone. Their first (4) records went Platinum plus and the arenas concerts were selling out. RATT celebrated (30) years in 2014, keeping Ratt N’ Roll ALIVE. Current Lineup: Bobby Blotzer (drums), Doc Ellis (guitar), Blaze (guitar), Josh Alan (vocals), Scotty Griffin (bass). The Pete Cummings Band would best be described as a “perfect storm” of musicians. While just a trio, there is a wealth of experience & talent amongst the players that could easily have been spread over many bands. The band features Bill Dutcher on guitar and lead vocals, Shane Martinez on bass and Pete Cummings (KSLX afternoon drive host) on drums. With the combined talents of these players, The Pete Cummings Band enthralls listeners with world-class musicianship and a show that demands your undivided attention. They will make any occasion an event and their energy is infectious. Don’t miss the opportunity to experience The Pete Cummings Band live!

Joan Jett is an originator, an innovator, and a visionary. As the leader of the hard-rocking Blackhearts, with whom she has become a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, she’s had eight platinum and gold albums and nine Top 40 singles. She sits at the head of her own independent label, Blackheart Records. Jett has also acted in movies and television. Her music has become a permanent force in mainstream culture. Since co-founding the Runaways, the pioneering all-girl punk quintet, at age 15, Jett’s determination and drive have kept her in the public eye. Jett was able to see her story told in 2010 film The Runaways. “I’ve had a blessed career” she says, “I consider myself so lucky to have been able to do things my own way.” See her perform iconic hits like “I Love Rock n Roll”, “Do You Wanna Touch Me”, “Bad Reputation”, “I Hate Myself for Loving You”, and “Crimson and Clover”.

At age 79, Buddy Guy is a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, a major influence on rock titans like Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, and Stevie Ray Vaughan, a pioneer of Chicago’s fabled West Side sound, and a living link to the city’s halcyon days of electric blues. Buddy Guy has received 6 GRAMMY Awards, a 2015 Lifetime Achievement GRAMMY Award, 34 Blues Music Awards (the most any artist has received), the Billboard Magazine Century Award for distinguished artistic achievement, a Kennedy Center Honor, and the Presidential National Medal of Arts. Rolling Stone Magazine ranked him #23 in its “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time.”

Buddy Guy released his brand new studio album Born To Play Guitar on July 31, 2015 via Silvertone/RCA Records, which debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top Blues Albums chart. The follow-up to his 2013 first-ever double disc release, Rhythm & Blues, which also debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top Blues Albums chart, Born To Play Guitar is produced by GRAMMY Award winning producer/songwriter and Buddy’s longtime collaborator Tom Hambridge. The new release features guest appearances by Van Morrison, Joss Stone, Kim Wilson and Billy Gibbons.

Though Buddy Guy will forever be associated with Chicago, his story actually begins in Louisiana. One of five children, he was born in 1936 to a sharecropper’s family and raised on a plantation near the small town of Lettsworth, located some 140 miles northwest of New Orleans. Buddy was just seven years old when he fashioned his first makeshift “guitar”—a two-string contraption attached to a piece of wood and secured with his mother’s hairpins.

In 1957, he took his guitar to Chicago, where he would permanently alter the direction of the instrument, first on numerous sessions for Chess Records playing alongside Howlin’ Wolf, Muddy Waters, and the rest of the label’s legendary roster, and then on recordings of his own. His incendiary style left its mark on guitarists from Jimmy Page to John Mayer. “He was for me what Elvis was probably like for other people,” said Eric Clapton at Guy’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction in 2005. “My course was set, and he was my pilot.”

Protect Your Engine

10am - 12pm

Castrol_AutoZone_600x300
On Saturday, March 26th, meet Pete Cummings and the KSLX Crew at AutoZone off Cave Creek Rd & Carefree Highway, from 10am – Noon to get a smokin’ deal on Castrol GTX MAGNATEC!

We’ll have games prizes and even Castrol swag! Find out about Castrol GTX MAGNATEC and  its innovative engine protection. If you’re like most of us, you don’t realize that up to 75% of engine wear occurs in the first 20 minutes of driving – which is just think is crazy! Are you one of the many people that drive for less than 20 min… going to work, dropping the kids at practice, orpicking up dinner?

When the engine is off, most motor oils drain away and return when the engine starts up again. AND the oil needs time to warm up before it reaches peak protection temperature.

But Castrol GTX MAGNATEC has intelligent molecules that cling to critical engine parts – even when the engine is off AND don’t require time to warm up – which means… YOU get instant protection from the moment you start. How cool is that?!

From March 26th – April 4th, pick up your 5 quarts of Castrol GTX MAGNATEC with select filter for $24.99 at any, local AutoZone.

Best known as the singer-songwriter/ front man of the Philadelphia based blues- rock band Cinderella, Tom Keifer, is enjoying continued success and touring in support of his solo debut, The Way Life Goes.
Though he possesses all the fire and brimstone of Rock’s greatest front men, you would be hard pressed to find the versatility and dimension that Keifer brings to a stage.
Whether delivering heart wrenching ballads, such as Don’t Know What You Got ‘til It’s Gone, channeling the soul of the bluesmen of the past with his slide guitar and lap steel, or blowing sax on rockers like “Shelter Me”, Keifer is clearly one of the most unique singers and accomplished
musicians in Rock and Roll. Combine that with his new band, who Keifer refers to as “The biggest bunch of badasses on the planet,” consisting of Paul Taylor (Keyboards/vocals), Tony Higbee (Guitar/vocals), Billy Mercer
(Bass/vocals), Paul Simmons (Drums/vocals), Savannah Keifer (Vocals/percussion) and Kendra Chantelle (Vocals/percussion), and there is only one possible outcome- A high energy rock show combining all the classic hits of Cinderella with new favorites from The Way Life Goes that will only leave you wanting more.

Renaissance-Festival-2014_600x300
Meet Pete Cummings at the 28th Annual Renaissance Festival  on President’s Day, Monday Feb. 15th from 11am – 1pm for an uplifting good time! Partake in the revelry at the wildly popular and entertaining annual faire every Saturday, Sunday, and on Presidents’ Day Monday, from February 6th thru March 27th, beginning at 10am.

Today’s audience want to be more then spectators. They want to interact and be surrounded by entertainment as they seek to escape the everyday world. This Festival transports visitors to an European style fair filled with an agreeable rabble of knights, rogues, royalty and craftsmen, all roaming throughout a 30-acre village filled with delectable sights and sounds tantalizing the senses. Explore 200 charming craft shops, 13 stages of non-stop entertainment, an arena for full-contact armored jousting, a living fountain, kitchens, pubs, and people powered games and rides.

All the Festival is a stage with a cast featuring more than 2,000 brightly costumed actors, dancers, mermaids, acrobats and musicians. These are the amazing people who populate this bustling event to ensure a good time for the 265,000 visitors who mingle into the endlessly wacky and unpredictable merriment and mayhem. At the Renaissance Festival, the audience is a special guest in another place and time. The Renaissance Festival experience is meeting and interacting with a variety of colorful characters, shopping for unique arts and crafts, and taking in a selection of over 150 shows every event day. There is a great variety of food for feasting, and a bevy of beverages including Medieval Margaritas, Da Vinci Coladas, Dukes of Daiquiri, wine, honey mead, beers and ales, along with soft drinks and lemonade.

A popular attraction at the Festival are the live jousting tournaments held three times daily in the 5,000 seat arena, complete with knights on charging horses, clanging weapons and a great deal of braggadocio. The 16th century Festival is home to many popular traditions including chomping down on a giant roasted turkey leg, adding to your collection of drinking vessels or hair adornments as well as battling wits with the village idiot. Create YOUR own tradition at this annual event.

The Faire features demonstrations of time honored crafts such as weaving, jewelry making, glass blowing, blacksmithing and pottery throwing. Shopping is fun and if you are looking for a unique gift; you shall surely find it at this bustling marketplace. A most special event within this giant event is The Pleasure Feast. This is a one and a half hour, five course medieval feast with live music and comedy entertainment, all you can eat and drink, plus festival souvenir. With limited seating twice daily, advance feast reservations are recommended. Don’t miss this time travel experience—see thee at the Faire. Huzzah

Renaissance-Festival-2014_600x300
Looking for an uplifting good time? Join Liz Jordan on Sunday, Feb. 7th from 11am – 1pm for the 28th Annual Renaissance Festival Opening Weekend! Take a trip Back in Time to the wildly popular and entertaining annual faire every Saturday, Sunday, and on Presidents’ Day Monday, from February 6th thru March 27th, beginning at 10am.

Huzzah

Russo and Steele Car Auction

Meet Mark & NeanderPaul from 4PM - 6PM

Russo&Steele-2016_600x300
Cruise out to the Russo & Steele Collector Automobile Auction off the Loop 101 & North Scottsdale Road, with Mark and NeanderPaul on Thursday, Jan. 28th as they broadcast from 4PM to 6PM
at the LIVE AUCTION with the KSLX Classic Rock Crew!

Russo and Steele’s Scottsdale auction is the primary destination for automobile enthusiasts to buy and/or sell the very best in European Sports, American Muscle, Hot Rods, and Customs. Following with tradition, they are continuing with their signature “Auction in the Round” format, and will offer 5 days of Auction excitement and over 750+ classic cars. The Scottsdale auction event has a reputation for wild, action-filled, auction block excitement earning the honor of being “one of the major players in the Scottsdale scene. Rapidly upping their game to become a one-stop shopping venue for lovers of all manner of post-war vintage machinery, both domestic and imported” according to Hemmings Sports and Exotic Magazine.

Russo and Steele was created to provide a highly targeted alternative to the world of collector car auctions. Specializing in European sports cars, American muscle cars, hot rods and customs, Russo and Steele was launched in Scottsdale, Arizona in 2001. Chief Executive Officer Drew Alcazar, along with his wife and partner Josephine had a very clear vision of what they wanted to deliver – a unique, highly personal and visceral experience in an intimate environment. The objective was an auction that focused on the specific needs of primarily the buyers and sellers of high quality collector automobiles.

Embracing decades of experience in collector car restoration and harboring a true passion for quality cars, Drew and Josephine had a very specific design for the type of auction experience they wanted Russo and Steele to embody. Needing an environment as unique as his vision, Drew Alcazar developed an auction block that has never been created before or since, and the “Auction in the Round” concept was born. This incredible auction innovation puts buyers, sellers and spectators right on the floor with the cars, providing an all access, high energy experience with no cars on stages and no separation with a ground level auction ‘arena’ and elevated platform seating 360 degrees around the stage. This creates a virtual ‘boxing ring’ or ‘coliseum’ effect which funnels buyers to the epicenter of the action. The Auction in the Round format thus creates a very interactive auction block now known industry wide to generate not only high levels of excitement, but a sense of urgency and personal emotion resulting in extremely intense and spirited bidding – After all, that is what live auction events are all about!

The expertise of Russo and Steele also goes beyond the singular focus and objective of a collector car auction. The principals and staff of Russo and Steele are fellow enthusiasts as well, actively participating in Concours shows, road rallies, auctions, vintage racing and other collector car events each year.

The “for enthusiasts by enthusiasts” approach not only fuels camaraderie between clients, but also produces events that consistently create a long term memorable experience for all attendees. Russo and Steele takes great pride in being the most knowledgeable and the most in tune Auction Company within the car collecting hobby. This results in the highest quality automobiles at every auction, with the strongest possible results.

Their expert team of craftsmen have over 100 years of combined experience. Team Drew’s staff is carefully selected and interviewed thoroughly before becoming a member of Drew’s Garage. Each member must demonstrate, not only on paper their accumulative years of experience in their specific field, but also pass a work test. The proof is in the pudding folks! Come by the Drew’s Garage display at Barrett-Jackson to see custom rides outfitted by Team Drew.

The 45th Annual Barrett-Jackson Auction, of  The World’s Greatest Collector Cars, is at WestWorld of Scottsdale, Jan. 23 – 31.

“The first Barrett-Jackson auction 45 years ago was a creative way to connect the collector car community and benefit an important charity,” said Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson. “Fast forward to today, and Barrett-Jackson has evolved into a global powerhouse that is the world’s greatest collector car auction. During those decades, we’ve raised millions of dollars for important causes. While the scale of our events may continue to grow, the passion for this hobby and helping charities deepens with every life that we touch.”

Barrett-Jackson has raised nearly $85million for charity over the past 45 years, and will continue this generous tradition with the auction of one of the most anticipated supercars in the world, the 2017 Acura NSX VIN #001 (Lot #3007). One hundred percent of the hammer price of the Acura NSX will benefit the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation and Camp Southern Ground.

Other important charity vehicles crossing the block in Scottsdale include the Chevrolet COPO Camaro VIN #001 (Lot #3005), a custom 2016 Ford Focus RS (Lot #3009), Jay Leno’s one-of-one F-150 (Lot #3006) and others totaling 11 charity consignments.

Dec. 23rd  – Jan. 3rd  are the Lowest Days of the Year for Blood Donations

United Blood Services of Arizona is the Arizona’s largest non-profit community blood supplier filling the needs of 58 Arizona hospitals with 6 Valley-wide donor centers in Chandler, Glendale, Goodyear, Mesa, Phoenix & Scottsdale.

Organization-sponsored blood drives provide more than half of our state’s blood supply.  Many factors can reduce the number of blood drives and donors, especially around holidays, but 500 blood donors are needed every day, even on holidays, and 1 gallon of blood fulfills Arizona blood needs for about 15 minutes.

Join the KSLX Classic Rock Crew at Paradise Valley Mall from 11AM to 1PM, on Wednesday, Dec. 23rd to support United Blood Services. But if you can’t make it, no sweat!

Donation appointments are recommended for any day and time that works best for you at a Donor Center near you. Just call 1-877-UBS-HERO (827-4376) or Visit www.BloodHero.com  and enter your Zip Code.

All blood types are needed, however, Type O-negative is always in greatest demand because Type O is the universal blood type that can be substituted in emergencies, is required primarily by emergency/trauma patients, as well as premature babies and is carried by 6% of the population, but used in 100% of all transfusions.

If you’ve never given blood before, here are a few things you should know:

  • The entire process takes about one hour, but the actual donation is less than 10 minutes.
  • Donor Benefits: free mini-physical/cholesterol test, save 2 to 3 lives & find out your blood type

You’re one blood donation can benefit multiple patients because it is separated into different components:

  • Red blood cells: for surgery & trauma patients to carry oxygen and nutrients to the body
  • Plasma: for patients suffering with internal bleeding
  • Platelets: for cancer & leukemia patients to help blood to clot and control bleeding

And there are only a few qualifications for donating blood:

  • At least 16 years old (parent/guardian permission required for donors under 18)
  • 110 pounds & in general good health (added requirements for donors under 23 years of age)
  • Before you donate: hydrate with plenty of water & eat a hearty, low-fat meal
  • Bring your ID & a list of medications

Peter Frampton Raw An Acoustic Tour

To play Acoustic Sets for the first time ever

The tour makes a stop in Phoenix on Thursday, March 10th 2016 at Orpheum Theatre. Tickets will go on sale this Friday, December 11th at 10am at Ticketmaster

Peter notes, “This is a first for me and I’m very excited about doing a whole show acoustically. I couldn’t do it without the help of, my writing partner of 15 years, Gordon Kennedy who will be joining me for these shows. I see this show being ‘me’ performing the songs just as I wrote them on acoustic guitar or piano. I have done a lot of shows including 2 or 3 acoustic solo pieces and always enjoy the way it draws the audience and myself closer together.”

Julian adds, “I couldn’t be more ecstatic about the opportunity to support a legend while simultaneously spending time with family. Two birds, one stone.”

Peter Frampton remains one of the most celebrated artists and guitarists in rock history. At 16, he was lead singer and guitarist for British band the Herd. At 18, he co-founded one of the first super groups, seminal rock act Humble Pie. His session work includes collaborations with such legendary artists as George Harrison, Harry Nilsson, David Bowie, Jerry Lee Lewis, Ringo Starr, John Entwistle and many others. His fifth solo album, the electrifying Frampton Comes Alive!, is one of the top-selling live records of all time.

Neal Schon (founding member and lead guitarist), original member Ross Valory (bass), and longtime members Jonathan Cain (keyboardist) and Arnel Pineda (lead singer), are welcoming virtuoso drummer Steve Smith back into JOURNEY, marking the first time he will perform with the band since 1998.  Schon and Smith have always remained close friends and musical collaborators. Smith has lent his incredible talent to several of Schon’s solo albums, including critically acclaimed The Calling, and, most recently, Vortex.

Schon was thrilled when Smith accepted his invitation to rejoin JOURNEY, exclaiming, “I’m so looking forward to the very exciting 2016 we have planned, starting with my ‘Neal Vortex Schon’ Japan tour in February and then our major summer tour with The Doobie Brothers and Dave Mason.  We will see you All soon!!!!”

THE DOOBIE BROTHERS’ Tom Johnston (founding member, vocals/guitar), Patrick Simmons (founding member, vocals/guitar), and longtime member John McFee (guitars/strings/vocals) are adding Little Feat co-founder, Bill Payne, to their band on the 2016 tour. Payne performed on many of THE DOOBIE BROTHERS studio albums as well as on the road; a relationship the band is looking forward to rekindling.

“It’s gonna be a great summer for fans of Bay Area music, and for guys like us who have the pleasure of teaming up with our good friends from Journey and the Dave Mason Band,” said Tom Johnston and Patrick Simmons of The Doobie Brothers. “We look forward to taking the stage with Journey. We love their songs, and think we will all complement each other musically.  It is going to be a powerful tour. We can’t wait to share it with the fans!”

JOURNEY VIP Packages and THE DOOBIE BROTHERS VIP Packages will both be available through VIP Nation. For more information, visit http://journeymusic.com and http://doobiebros.com.

Why Walk?

The Arizona Animal Welfare League & SPCA’s Walk to Save Animals 2k & 5k walk is a tradition for many Phoenix residents and AAWL alumni families. This family and pet-friendly event is AAWL’s largest annual fundraiser, bringing out more than 3,000 people and dogs to help raise funds for the thousands of homeless and medically in-need animals AAWL rescues.

By registering to participate as an individual or a team in the 2015 Walk to Save Animals, you are directly helping to care for more than 4,500 homeless pets that come into AAWL’s shelter each year. The funds raised at this event allow AAWL to save animals at risk of euthanasia, provide medical care to sick or injured animals, provide additional behavior training to make pets more adoptable, and much more.

The Walk to Save Animals is more than just a 2k & 5k fun run! Participants can shop pet related vendors, gather tons of freebies for fido in the Pet Club Market, win prizes, view demonstrations like flyball and agility, enjoy refreshments, experience fun activities with your furry family members, and much more! Bring the entire family and spend the day at Tempe Town Lake helping to save lives!

TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA ANNOUNCES

LETTERS FROM THE LABYRINTH ALBUM BUNDLE WITH 2015 WINTER TOUR TICKETS

‘The Ghosts of Christmas Eve’ Tour On-Sales:

Sunday, December 6, 2015 –  2 shows 3:00pm &  7:30 pm Gila River Arena, Glendale, AZ

TSO will be performing a best of the Christmas trilogy show “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve” for the first time ever.

WHAT IS TSO? TSO is a full scale, rock show, bringing together the stirring
elegance of a classical orchestra, along with the power and fury of a hard rock
band, surrounded by stunning lighting. This awe inspiring musical tour de force
captivated audiences with contemporary adaptations of traditional Christmas
music, complemented with a slew of original compositions.

September 9, 2015 – Earlier this month, Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO) announced the dates of its 2015 Winter Tour based on the group’s cherished Yuletide story, “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve.” Now, TSO is pleased to announce that each concert ticket will come with a digital copy of the group’s highly-anticipated upcoming studio album, Letters From The Labyrinth (Lava Records/Republic Records). Letters From The Labyrinth, which is set to be released Nov. 13, 2015 is TSO’s first full-length album since 2009’s Night Castle, and fans who purchase tickets to the 2015 Winter Tour will be among the first to hear it. The tour comes to Gila River Arena for two shows on Sunday, December 6th.  100.7 KSLX presents the 7:30pm show with a portion of every sold ticket going to the Arizona Animal Welfare League.

Tour pre-sale tickets will be available to fan club members from Sept. 9 through Sept. 11, and tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, Sept. 18 at 10am (see www.trans-siberian.com for details). For every ticket purchased online, fans will receive a digital download of Letters From The Labyrinth on the album’s release date.

Letters From The Labyrinth is a bold, conceptually provocative song cycle that finds TSO creator, lyricist and composer Paul O’Neill along with his composers, arrangers, singers and players pushing the proverbial envelope yet again — this time with what he calls TSO’s “first straight-ahead album” in the wake of its signature rock operas.

Fans of the rock operas will still be sated, as the 2015 Winter Tour is based on TSO’s multi-platinum DVD and long running PBS fundraiser, the “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve.” This enchanting story follows the journey of a young runaway who breaks into an abandoned vaudeville theater seeking shelter from the cold, and the ghostly visions she experiences from that concert hall’s past. “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve” features such lasting crowd-pleasers as “Christmas Eve Sarajevo 12/24,” “O’ Come All Ye Faithful,” “Good King Joy,” “Christmas Canon,” “Music Box Blues,” “Promises To Keep,” and “This Christmas Day.” TSO will take the 2015 Winter Tour to 60 cities across North America to perform 100 shows.

This year’s tour follows the massive success of The 2014 Winter Tour, which grossed more than $51 million in just 52 days, played to nearly 1,000,000 fans.  In total, TSO has played in excess of 1,600 shows for more than 11 million fans cementing itself as one of the world’s biggest arena rock acts.  Trans-Siberian Orchestra has consistently ranked in the Top 10 for attendance and grosses according to Pollstar, the touring industry trade publication, and was named among the “Top Touring Artists of the Decade” by Billboard (in 2009). This ongoing success is due to Paul O’Neill’s vision. O’Neill has melded the sound and fury of rock with the storytelling of Broadway to create a unique amalgamation he calls “rock theater” that leaves crowds of all ages speechless. With new fans being introduced to the wonder presented on stage every year, and TSO constantly striving to provide a new experience, audiences can be assured the best is yet to come in 2015.

As in all previous years, a portion of all ticket sales will go to benefit select national and local charities.  To date, TSO has donated approximately $12 million to charities.

Visit www.trans-siberian.com for more details.

The interior has natural finishes in the lobby; zoned seating areas with a variety of seating types and comfortable configurations; and lower lighting levels in the dining area utilizing pendant fixtures. The restaurant also has flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi.

“We’re excited to throw open our doors with this special treat for Valley commuters and local customers,” said Travis Heriaud,  McDonald’s owner/operator. “At McDonald’s, our mission is to become our customer’s favorite place and way to eat.  Our grand opening celebration will give our customers a proper introduction to a beautiful new restaurant where they can meet, relax and enjoy a good quality meal.”

Zia_NewMusicFri

Deluxe editions of Led Zeppelin’s final three studio albums: Presence, In Through The Out Door, and Coda will be released in July. The reaction to the first six Led Zeppelin album reissues has been extraordinary, with albums charting in the Top 10 around the globe whilst also garnering 5-star reviews and other critical accolades along the way.

As with the previous deluxe editions, Presence, In Through The Out Door, and Coda have been newly remastered by guitarist and producer Jimmy Page and are accompanied by companion audio comprised of previously unreleased music related to the original release selected and compiled by Page.

Presence, In Through The Out Door, and Coda will each be available July 31 from Atlantic/Swan Song in the following formats:
•    Single CD – Remastered original album. Presence and Coda will be packaged in a
gatefold card wallet. All CD and LP versions of In Through The Out Door will be
wrapped in a brown paper page replicating its initial release.
•    Deluxe Edition (2CD and 3CD) – Remastered album, plus a second disc of unreleased
companion audio. Coda will feature two companion audio discs.
•    Single LP – Remastered album on 180-gram vinyl, packaged in a sleeve that replicates
the LP’s first pressing in exacting detail. All vinyl versions of In Through The Out Door
will also include the water-sensitive insert that replicates the inner sleeve from the
album’s initial release.
•    Deluxe Edition Vinyl – Remastered album and unreleased companion audio on
180-gram vinyl. Coda will feature two companion LPs.
•    Digital Download – Remastered album and companion audio will both be available.
•    Super Deluxe Boxed Set – This collection includes:
o    Remastered album on CD in vinyl replica sleeve.
o    Companion audio on CD in card wallet.
o    Remastered album on 180-gram vinyl in a sleeve replicating first pressing.
o    Companion audio on 180-gram vinyl.
o    High-def audio download card of all content at 96kHz/24 bit.
o    Hard bound, 72+ page book filled with rare and previously unseen photos and memorabilia.
o    High quality print of the original album cover, the first 30,000 of which will be individually numbered.

Originally released in 1976, Presence was recorded during a whirlwind 18-day session at Musicland Studios in Munich, Germany. The album-which peaked at #1 in both the U.S. and UK and was certified triple platinum-crackles with energy on Zeppelin classics like “Nobody’s Fault But Mine” and  “Achilles Last Stand” and delivers powerful jolts of the group at its visceral best.

The companion audio disc that accompanies Presence has five unreleased reference mixes from the sessions, which reveal works in progress. Along with alternate incarnations of “For Your Life” “Achilles Last Stand” and “Royal Orleans,” there is also the previously unheard instrumental curiously titled “10 Ribs & All/Carrot Pod Pod (Pod).”

On its release in the summer of 1979, In Through The Out Door topped the U.S. and UK album charts and has since been certified six-times platinum. Sadly, it would be the last album that Led Zeppelin recorded prior to drummer John Bonham’s passing the following year. Among the seven album tracks are “Fool In The Rain” and “All My Love,” two songs that remain rock radio staples to this day.

The album’s companion audio disc features an unreleased rough mix of every track from the original album, including early versions with working titles such as “The Hook” (“All My Love”),  “The Epic” (“Carouselambra”), and “Blot” (“I’m Gonna Crawl”).

The appropriately titled Coda was Led Zeppelin’s final album of studio recordings. Released in 1982, it was comprised of eight unreleased tracks recorded between 1970 and 1978. It peaked at #6 on the album charts and has been certified platinum in the U.S.

The reissue campaign ends with a double-barrel blast of Led. Coda will be the only Led Zeppelin deluxe edition to include two companion discs, featuring 15 tracks recorded between 1968 and 1974. The oldest song in the collection is also perhaps the most interesting. The frenetic blues jam “Sugar Mama” was recorded in 1968 at Olympic Studios during sessions for the band’s eponymous debut. The song was completed but never officially released until now. “Baby Come On Home” from the same session is also included in the set. Also included is the previously unreleased “St. Tristan’s Sword,” a rollicking instrumental recorded during the Led Zeppelin III sessions in 1970.

In 1972, Robert Plant and Jimmy Page took a fabled trip to India to perform with the Bombay Orchestra and now, for the first time, recordings from these sessions will be officially released with dynamic takes on “Friends” and “Four Hands” (“Four Sticks” from Led Zeppelin IV). Among the many other highlights featured here is an early version of “When The Levee Breaks” from 1970 titled “If It Keeps On Raining”; rough mixes of “The Wanton Song” and “In The Light,” from the Physical Graffiti sessions at Headley Grange, the latter a different alternate version than the one included in the Physical Graffiti deluxe edition; and an instrumental mix of “Poor Tom” from 1970.

In 1968, Jimmy Page formed Led Zeppelin, one of the most influential, innovative and successful groups in modern music, having sold more than 300 million albums worldwide. The band rose from the ashes of The Yardbirds, when Page brought in Robert Plant, John Bonham and John Paul Jones. In 1969, Led Zeppelin released its self-titled debut. It marked the beginning of a 12-year reign, during which the group was widely considered to be the biggest and most innovative rock band in the world.

Led Zeppelin continues to be honored for its pivotal role in music history. The band was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1995, received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2005, and a year later was awarded with the Polar Music Prize in Stockholm. Founding members Page, Plant, and Jones, and along with Jason Bonham, the son of John Bonham – took the stage at London’s O2 Arena in 2007 to headline a tribute concert for Ahmet Ertegun, a dear friend and Atlantic Records’ founder. The band was honored for its lifetime contribution to American culture at the Kennedy Center Honors in 2012. In January of 2014, the band won their first ever Grammy award as Celebration Day , which captured their live performance at the Ertegun tribute concert, was named Best Rock Album.
