The pressure of opening night is now over and done with for Bob Seger who started his Ride Out tour on Saginaw, Michigan. But the pressure going into the second show on Saturday in Bangor, Maine is even greater as he’ll be joined by the J. Geils Band for the first of 16 dates.

Seger tells us, “I’m excited about that,” but adds that “[singer] Peter [Wolf] will be out there kicking my butt. I’ll have to be good to follow him.”

After Bangor the tour heads to Canada for two shows on Monday and Wednesday before hitting the Geils Band’s hometown of Boston on Saturday the 29th.
