- T.V: Batman premiered on ABC for two and a half seasons. The first episode of Star Trek premiered in September.
- MOVIES: The Sand Pebbles, Grand Prix, Born Free
- John Lennon boasted that the Beatles were “More popular than Jesus” and that set off a bunch of protests & record burnings in U.S.A.
- NFL & AFL finally merged
- Hot Wheels were the hot toys & we liked getting all tied up playing Twister.

- Walt Disney: (Walter Elias Disney) December 5, 1901 – December 15, 1966. He has won 26 Academy Awards out of 59 nominations, including a record four in one year.
