- The Eagles had put up some awesome numbers: 5 #1 singles and 4 #1 albums one of which is one of the top 3 best selling albums of all time.
- The “Long Run” took two years to make, and was originally intended to be a double album but the band was unable to come up with enough songs.
- The song received a Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal.
- The Eagles last #1 hit “Heartache Tonight” your #1 @ 1 from November 1979.
