Coming from the L.A. club scene The Knack would take 11 days and spend only $17,000 to record their freshman effort “My Sharona”

Sharona Alperin appears on the picture sleeve for the single and is now a real estate agent in Los Angeles.

The song gained some attention in 2005 when it appeared on the playlist of President George W. Bush's iPod.
