Pete Cummings

Pete Cummings 3A Phoenix radio veteran for 25 years, Pete Cummings has been hosting 100.7 KSLX’s afternoon show for the past 9 years with passion and dedication as unbridled as rock music itself.  Drawing from an extensive knowledge of the genre and a quarter century of experience here in Arizona, Pete espouses the spirit of what Classic Rock has always been – the freedom of self-expression and the desire to unite everyone through pounding drums & screaming guitars.

In addition to over two decades as a rock radio host, Pete is also a lifelong drummer, playing in several bands in the Phoenix area.  Fulfilling some childhood dreams, Pete has had the privilege of sharing stages with some of the artists he grew up listening to including, Alice Cooper, Ted Nugent, Styx, Paul Rodgers, Blue Oyster Cult, Queensryche, Great White, Don Felder, The Tubes & many more.  The Pete Cummings Band is also the Official House Band of KSLX & has played for numerous station events throughout the years.  Pete truly epitomizes the lifestyle of Classic Rock and hopes you’ll join him every afternoon for a few laughs, some fascinating insights and the best music ever written.

Tune in from 2 p.m. – 7 p.m. to hear Pete Cummings!
