A cause near and dear to my heart...animal adoption and helping homeless pets is in need of your help. Founded in 1971, Arizona Animal Welfare League & SPCA was the first no-kill shelter in Arizona. For the past 17 years, they've hosted the Walk to Save Animals to give EVERYONE an opportunity to step up and step out to help homeless animals. Last year alone, thousands and thousands of healthy, or easily treatable, animals were put to death in our community, and AAWL & SPCA won’t rest until ALL healthy animals find loving homes. You can help...and it's easy, my co-worker is participating in this year’s walk and you can donate on her page, you can walk and collect your own donations, or/and just come out to the event Saturday, November 10th from 9 to 1pm at Tempe Town Lake and see all of the exhibitors!
