- Bruce Springsteen is up for Best Rock Album for Wrecking Ball, and the title track is up for Best Rock Song. The album's "We Take Care of Our Own" is nominated for Best Rock Performance.
- Paul McCartney's collection of standards, Kisses on the Bottom, is up for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album, and his RAM reissue is nominated for Best Boxed or Special Limited Edition Package and Best Historical Album.
- The Rolling Stones' Some Girls re-issue is also nominated for Best Boxed or Special Limited Edition Package, and The Beach Boys' Smile Sessions is a nominee for Best Historical Album.
- U2 never seem to absent from the Grammys, and this time out, they're up for Best Long Form Music Video for their documentary, From the Sky Down.
Sting and Elton John will be among the performers, and Elton will also take part in a tribute to the late Levon Helm.
The Grammy Awards will air live from Los Angeles at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS. That's 7pm our time!!
