KISS: 40th Anniversary in 2013, But No Plans to Look Back
Next year will mark KISS's 40th anniversary, but singer-guitarist Paul Stanley says not to expect them to do anything special, as far as looking back on their early days. He tells us the best way to honor the band's longevity is to "do what we've been doing. We celebrate KISS by continuing.
And he doesn't think original members Peter Criss and Ace Frehley need to be involved in anything they might decide to do. He says it's "not a matter of putting your arms around old members and singing 'Kumbaya'...The band today is why we exist, it's not because of our past."
