The Rolling Stones celebrate 50 years.

The Rolling Stones came together yesterday (Thursday) at Somerset House in London to unveil a photo exhibit marking their 50th anniversary -- 50 years to the day that Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Brian Jones first performed at London's Marquee Club as The Rollin' Stones (no G in Rolling). On Wednesday night, Mick and Keith were joined by Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood for a commemorative photo session in front of the Marquee.

The photos that are on display at Somerset House through August 27th are also in the new Rolling Stones 50 coffee table book, which was published yesterday (Thursday). In addition, they have relaunched their website and a 50th anniversary documentary will be out in November. But, in regards to the announcement that everyone wants to hear -- will they tour again -- nothing has been confirmed, although Keith says, "There's things in the works... We're playing around with the idea and we've had a couple of rehearsals -- and it feels so good I think soon..." Asked if a reunion would include former bass player Bill Wyman, Ronnie, who recently did a show with him in London, says, "We did a rehearsal with him a few weeks ago. It's like he'd never been away." Wyman left the Stones in 1993. The Stones' last tour ended in 2007.
