ELTON JOHN: Receives Unique Birthday Gift

Betty White did something unique in honor of Elton John's 65th birthday -- she adopted a crocodile in his honor. In a statement, the actress and longtime animal rights campaigner said, "Elton has been a wonderful advocate for animals and wildlife issues, so we decided to honor him by adopting a crocodile on his behalf at The Los Angeles Zoo." To be specific, the protected critter is a White Malayan gharial crocodile.
