ALICE COOPER: A Whitney Fan on What May Have Killed Her |

Shock-rocker Alice Cooper says he was "absolutely" a fan of the late Whitney Houston, and tells us she was "the Barbra Streisand of that genre" and "the prototype" for a slew of subsequent divas. Alice has gone through his own well-publicized struggles with alcohol addiction and seen his friend Keith Moon of The Who die in what may have been similar circumstances -- mixing prescription drugs and alcohol. He feels she wasn't suicidal and may have actually been coming back. But, he says, "drugs don't care. When people think that alcohol's not a drug, it's the most lethal drug of all." |
