ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND: Greg Postpones Start of Book Tour

Gregg Allman has postponed the start of his publicity tour for his autobiography, My Cross to Bear. He's headed to the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida today (Friday) for cardiac testing to determine if he needs additional care following his recent hernia operation. It's the same clinic where Allman had his liver transplant two years ago. If there are no complications, Allman's tour will be delayed only one week and will start on May 8th.

Allman will also tour with the Allman Brothers Band later this summer. The tour dates will be announced Tuesday.
