ZZ TOP: Another Hall of Fame Comes Knocking

ZZ Top will be inducted into the Memphis Music Hall of Fame next month.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees ZZ Top will be among the first 25 members of the Memphis Music Hall of Fame. Set for induction on November 29th at the Cannon Center for Performing Arts in downtown Memphis, they are part of a class that includes Elvis Presley, Bobby “Blue” Bland, Booker T. and The MG’s, Al Green, W.C. Handy, Isaac Hayes, Howlin’ Wolf, B.B. King, Jerry Lee Lewis, Sam Phillips, Otis Redding, The Staple Singers and Rufus Thomas.

ZZ is from Texas, but they recorded many of their albums at Ardent Studios in Memphis.
