Van Halen has posted their fifth video of Eddie, Alex and David Lee Roth in the studio talking about everything except their new album, A Different Kind of Truth, and their tour. In this episode, filmed during the making of the album, they discuss the first music they ever bought, early influences, Roth's audition for the brothers in which he sang Grand Funk Railroad's "Inside Looking Out" and Robert Johnson's "Crossroads," and the impact of The Beatles' first movie, A Hard Day's Night. Van Halen's tour continues tomorrow night in San Jose, California. |
