AEROSMITH: Commonwealth Homecoming

Aerosmith visited a Boston apartment where they once lived Monday afternoon.

Aerosmith returned to the Boston apartment where they once lived Monday (this) afternoon. In addition to receiving a plaque from the city, the band performed a nine-song set for hundreds of fan in front of 1325 Commonwealth Avenue, mixing three songs from their first album ("Walking the Dog," "Movin' Out" and "Mama Kin") with such hits as "Walk This Way" and two songs from Music From Another Dimension. New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was on hand for the show.

After playing, drummer Joey Kramer tweeted, "Felt great to go back to where it all started."

Aerosmith lived in the apartment in the early 1970s and wrote many of their earliest songs there.
