A revised version of Rain, the recent jukebox musical on The Beatles, is heading to London.
A revised version of Rain, the recent jukebox musical on The Beatles, is heading to London. Renamed Let it Be, the show is being staged as part of the 50th anniversary celebration of The Fab Four's first British hit "Love Me Do." Producer Jamie Hendry tells the BBC that he prefers it be billed as "a tribute concert," since the term jukebox musical is "tarnished." Let It Be begins previews at London's Prince of Wales Theater on September 14th.
