Neil Young and Red Hot Chili Peppers will be the performers for Flea's annual Silverlake Conservatory benefit later this month.
Flea and Chili Peppers singer Anthony Kiedis will again host the event, which will take place on October 30th at an undisclosed location in the Silver Lake neighborhood of L.A. Proceeds will help the non-profit community music school -- which Flea co-founded -- purchase a permanent location and expand its scholarship program. Tickets run a hefty $2000 apiece.
Flea says having Young -- who he calls "one of my favorite musicians" -- at the event is "the greatest blessing."
