Black Sabbath will warm up for their headlining appearance at the Download Festival in Donington, England by playing in their hometown of Birmingham on May 19th. It'll be their first show there in more than 13 years. A part of the proceeds will go to Help for Heroes, a charity helping wounded British soldiers.
Sabbath has yet to announce if drummer Bill Ward will be playing with the band, or who might replace him. Ward bowed out of the sessions for the new Sabbath album because of "an unsignable contract."
