BEATLES: Pete Best Documentary Coming

A documentary on former Beatles drummer Pete Best will be online this summer. 50 years after being replaced by Ringo Starr -- just as the band's career was beginning -- The Beatles at Their Best will be available via YouTube. It will stream for 100 days beginning June 24th. Producer Shaun Phillips tells Examiner.com, "It's a half century later, and the true beginnings of The Beatles, the most incredible entertainment success story in the history of the world, has never been properly told."

The film has been shown on the festival circuit and won an award at last year's New England Underground Film Festival.
