PHIL COLLINS: Hello, I Must Be Selling
Phil Collins back in Top 10 due to Amazon's 99-cent sale.
Phil Collins' best-of collection, Hits, has cracked the Billboard Top 10, 14 years after its release. According to Nielsen-SoundScan, it sold 40,000 copies last week due to Amazon having a one-day special offering it at 99-cents. That's a 4,500 percent increase in sales, which lands it at number-six. When it was released in 1998, Hits peaked at number-18. This re-entry onto the chart gives Collins his first Top 10 and highest charting album since 1989's But Seriously spent four weeks at number-one. He also had three other Top 10 albums -- Face Value, which peaked at number-seven, Hello, I Must Be Going (number-eight), and No Jacket Required, which also went to number-one.
