A copy of The Beatles first U.S. album, Introducing...The Beatles, has sold on eBay for just under $15,000. The album was released in 1963 on Vee Jay Records just 10 days before the group's Capitol debut, Meet the Beatles, then became entangled in legal wrangling between the two labels. It was finally reissued in a slightly different version in early 1964 and reached number-two on Billboard's album chart. The version sold on eBay has a rare back cover, which features an ad for other Vee Jay recordings. Only 6,000 of these were pressed, and the one sold was listed as being in mint condition
