Bruce Springsteen's Wrecking Ball tour was the second biggest worldwide in 2011, according to Billboard Boxscore. The gross of $199 million from 72 shows was second only to Madonna's $228 million. The Boxscore figures cover from November 9th, 2011 until November 13th of this year, so Springsteen's figures will go up since he had nine more shows after that cutoff. (The concert trade magazine Pollstar will release its final figures after Christmas.)
Others in the Top 10 included Roger Waters at number-three with $188 million, Coldplay in fifth with $147 million and Van Halen eighth with $54 million.
