The parade of increasingly pricey Beatles memorabilia rolls on.
A copy of the White Album signed by all four Beatles, just sold for $223,000, according to Tracks Auction of Lancashire, England. Its director tells Examiner.com that it's the "rarest fully signed Beatles album ever to be auctioned... and undoubtedly one of the finest sets ever to appear on a signed Beatles album."
Sunday's auction also featured John Lennon's high school detention documents, which went for just under $14,000 each; and a pair of Lennon's cufflinks, which fetched almost $18,000.
Separately, a still-sealed mint copy of Yesterday and Today with the ultra-rare "Butcher Cover" went for $15,300 on eBay.
