Graham Nash honored for helping to save whales.

Graham Nash was honored recently in Cape Cod, Massachusetts for his efforts to protect whales. The event was held at the Stellwagen Bank Marine Sanctuary where he was presented with the Conservation and Environmental Stewardship Award for a lifetime of achievement spent raising awareness for the plight of the whale.

Nash wrote about whales in "To the Last Whale" on his and David Crosby's 1975 album, Wind on the Water. The song was reportedly inspired after a close encounter with a whale while sailing with Crosby.

Nash is on tour this summer with Crosby and Stephen Stills with the next stop scheduled for Nashville on Friday.
