Rolling Stones and Faces guitarist Ron Wood turns 65 today. June 1st is also significant in Wood's life for another reason -- it was on this day in 1975 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where Wood played his first concert with the Stones. (He actually played two shows that day, as the group did a pair of warm up gigs at the LSU Assembly Center. |
