BOB WEIR: A Grateful Club Owner

Phil Lesh isn't the only member of The Grateful Dead with his own club. Bob Weir is one of the investors in the re-launching of the Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley, California. The club, which first opened in 1972, has welcomed the likes of John Lee Hooker, Carlos Santana, Jerry Garcia, Elvis Costello and Bonnie Raitt. Weir was also an investor in the original club, which closed in 2007. It will now be part of the 107-year-old Masonic Hall and will open on January 27th with a show by The Outlaws.

Phil Lesh's club, Terrapin Crossroads, will open in March in nearby San Rafael, California.
