DAVID BOWIE: Cut Into Hundreds of Pieces

In recognition of David Bowie's 65th birthday on January 8th, U.K. artist Ed Chapman has created a mosaic of Bowie's mug. Made from hundreds of hand-cut pieces of stone tile, the three-by-two-foot piece, called Pin Up, is valued at just over $6000. It's on display at Chapman's gallery in Manchester, England before it moves to the George Thornton Art Gallery in Nottingham later this month.
