ROBIN GIBB: A Final Goodbye |
|
Robin Gibb's hometown fans will get the chance to say a final goodbye today (Friday). The BBC reports that the late singer-songwriter will have his final ride aboard a horse-drawn hearse today that will pass through the Oxfordshire town of Thane en route to his funeral. The service, closed to all but family and close friends, will be held at the local Saint Mary's Church. Gibb's son R.J. says "I Started a Joke" will be among the songs played at the church -- as will "Don't Cry Alone," one of the songs from his final composition Titanic Requiem |
