The main reason people give for not donationg blood is this: " ...Nobody asked me."

Well I'm asking you.

Please join KSLX and United Blood Services for the Indepence Day Blood Drive going on right now. I'm going to be doing my Power Red donation on Friday at the Chandler UBS location.

 I do Power Red because I found out that my O+ blood could be used to help premature babies, burn patients, cancer patient, people with AIDS and anyone with a diminished immune system.

They had me at babies...

Can you help? People need blood 24 hours a day 7 days a week in Arizona. I guarantee you'll be helping someone with your donation. Might even be one of our soldiers wounded in Afghanistan.
