KISS: Peter's Not-So-Love Gun

Ex-KISS drummer Peter Criss reveals he once stuck a .357 Magnum is his mouth, in his new autobiography Makeup to Breakup: My Life in and Out of KISS.

In a new excerpt in Rolling Stone, Criss writes that his brush with suicide came right after the 1994 Northridge, California earthquake, when he sat in his apartment with almost all of his possessions smashed after the tremors. Criss says the only thing that stopped him was seeing that a picture of his daughter was still in perfect shape.

Criss writes, "That's when it just clicked. I had been going through some real [crap], but no matter what, I still had my kid, man. But how could I do this to my little angel in the picture? So I pulled the barrel of the gun out of my mouth, put it back in its holster, and then locked it back up."

Makeup to Breakup will be out October 23rd.
