ROD STEWART: Cheated to Obtain His First Drivers License
Rod Stewart cheated to obtain his first drivers license.
He tells the London tabloid The Sun that in 1967, he had a friend pose as him to take the drivers test. Fortunately, his pal Pete Saunders passed without incident after signing in as Roderick Stewart. But don't worry if you see Rod behind the wheel on an L.A. freeway or cruising the Strip in Las Vegas. He says that after moving to the U.S. in the 1970s, he legitimately passed his test and earned his license.
