A pair of unique Beatles-related items are part of Julien's Auctions Icons and Idols sale, set for December 1st and 2nd in Beverly Hills, California.

A pair of unique Beatles-related items are part of Julien's Auctions Icons and Idols sale, set for December 1st and 2nd in Beverly Hills, California:

  • A dollar bill signed by all four Beatles as well as "Fifth Beatle" legendary New York DJ Murray the K, who accompanied them to Washington on their first U.S. visit.
  • A "first state" "Butcher" album cover of Yesterday and Today. This incredibly rare stereo copy of the album was salvaged from the trash by an employee at The Modern Album company in Burbank, California and is offered for sale for the first time

The sale also includes items tied to Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Junior, U2 and Michael Jackson -- from whom 60 items are up for bids, including costume pieces from his movie The Wiz.
