PAUL SIMON: Headlining Concert Celebrating the Baseball Hall of Fame
Paul Simon is going to Cooperstown. The lifelong Yankee fan, who famously referred to Joe DiMaggio in "Mrs. Robinson," will headline an August 2nd concert celebrating the Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum’s 75th anniversary.
Set for the upstate New York town's Clark Sports Center, the musical event will also feature the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra, as well as retired Yankee center fielder Bernie Williams, a four-time World Series champ and Grammy-nominated guitarist.
The concert will take place on the weekend after the inductions of pitchers Greg Maddux and Tom Glavine, slugger Frank Thomas and managers Joe Torre, Tony LaRussa and Bobby Cox.
