The battle over Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark -- the musical with songs by U2's Bono and The Edge -- might finally make it to trial. Ex-director Julie Taymor and the show's producers and Bono and The Edge seemed to have settled their lawsuits against each other last August. But negotiations hit a snag this month over creative rights and control of the musical, whose producers are now considering taking overseas and launching multiple U.S tours. The New York Times reports that both sides are still talking and could still settle, but the New York judge presiding over the case ruled on Tuesday that the trial will start on May 28th.
