GRATEFUL DEAD: D.C. Honor

Recordings by The Grateful Dead, Booker T. and the MGs, Love, Bo Diddley, Prince and many others have been named to the National Recording Registry of the Library of Congress. It's the 10th anniversary of the registry, and the recordings are:

• The Dead's Barton Hall concert on May 8th, 1977
• Booker T.'s "Green Onions"
• Bo Diddley's "Bo Diddley" and "I'm a Man"
• Love's Forever Changes
• Prince's Purple Rain

The list also includes recordings by the late Donna Summer, Dolly Parton and Parliament.
