ALLMANS, CHEAP TRICK: Settle Sony Suit |
| The Allman Brothers Band, Cheap Trick and The Youngbloods are among a group of musicians who've settled a five-year long dispute with Sony Music over digital music revenue. The artists will receive a lump sum of $7.95 million, and they'll get a three-percent raise in their royalty rates for digital income. A bulk of the money will go to artists who've sold at least 28,500 total downloads through iTunes. $2.5 million of it will cover legal fees.
