Founding Kansas guitarist and songwriter Kerry Livgren is continuing to recover from a stroke he suffered in September 2009.

Kansas guitarist Richard Williams tells us Livgren is working again -- he can play the keyboards, but struggles with the guitar, as he is no longer able to fingerpick. Williams says, “He recovered 80 percent. He gets around great and speaks fine. He’s in great health.”

Livgren recently took part in the filming of a Kansas documentary that Williams says should be out in a year.
