YES: Adding Insult to Injury
The Jon Anderson-less version of Yes, featuring their second Anderson sound-alike since they sacked their co-founder and signature voice in 2008, have announced their 2013 tour, in which they'll play three classic albums every night. Now featuring Jon Davison on vocals, backed by bassist Chris Squire, drummer Alan White, guitarist Steve Howe and keyboardist Geoff Downes, they'll perform 1971’s The Yes Album, 1972’s Close to the Edge and 1977’s Going For the One.
This will be the first time since 1973 that Yes has performed an album onstage in its entirety. The tour starts March 1st in Nevada and runs through April 12th in Detroit.
