Don't Remember.

ACE FREHLEY: No Regrets, and Apparently No Memory

In his autobiography, No Regrets, published last fall, former KISS guitarist Ace Frehley says Gene Simmons saved him from drowning. Apparently all the drugs and alcohol Frehley consumed have affected his memory as Simmons says, "While I did save his life more than once, his recollection of a swimming pool incident where he was drowning, actually never happened. It was [drummer] Peter Criss whose life I saved. Peter was drunk and dove into the pool, where he almost drowned. I dove in and pulled him out. Ace told me over lunch before the book's release that he didn't recall decades of experiences, because he was "out of it." Simmons was a lifeguard before forming KISS.

Frehley is working on a second memoir.
