THE DOORS: Paying Tribute to Themselves
The Doors will attend a Hollywood tribute -- to themselves -- Thursday.
The surviving members of The Doors -- Robby Krieger, Ray Manzarek and John Densmore -- will be on hand for the launch of the fifth annual Sunset Strip Music Festival Thursday night at the House of Blues in West Hollywood. A post on the band's website says, "Rumor has it Robby and Ray may join Black Label Society and Marilyn Manson for the all-star tribute to The Doors."
On Friday, Krieger will move down the block from the House of Blues to the Viper Room for a show with Rich Robinson of The Black Crowes.
