Robert Plant made a rare club appearance over the weekend in Austin, Texas.
The Led Zeppelin singer joined singer Patty Griffin, who is reportedly his girlfriend and a member of Band of Joy, at a benefit at the Continental Club Saturday night. The show was for injured and uninsured Austin musician Michael Fracasso -- a longtime friend of Griffin’s -- and the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians medical assistance program.
Plant and Griffin's played a number of re-worked versions of Zeppelin classics such as "Black Dog," "Going to California" and "Tangerine." Patty also joked on stage that Plant was "my driver" to the show.
