BOB DYLAN: Onto 72

Bob Dylan turned 71 last Thursday and while it's not known what he did to mark the occasion, a number of artists got together at Irving Plaza in New York to celebrate on Thursday and Friday. Among those on hand for the 10th annual Dylan Fest were Donald Fagen from Steely Dan and Boz Scaggs, who will team up this summer with Michael McDonald for another Dukes of September tour.

Among the 30 songs performed were:

• "Bob Dylan's 115th Dream" with Boz's son, Rolling Stone writer Austin Scaggs on vocals
• "Visions of Johanna"
• "You Ain't Goin' Nowwhere" featuring Guster's Ryan Miller
• "Don't Think Twice, It's All Right" with Jason Sudeikis and Will Forte from Saturday Night Live
• "Standing in the Doorway"
• "I Want You"
• "Tangled Up in Blue"
• "I Shall Be Released"
• "Isis" featuring Sudeikis, Will Forte and Kristen Wiig
• "Ballad of a Thin Man" featuring Jody Porter of Fountains of Wayne

The shows, proceeds of which will benefit Amnesty International, also paid tribute to the late Levon Helm.
