The Break is a documentary about three homeless youths airing on MTV tomorrow night that was conceived and executive produced by U2 guitarist The Edge. He says the documentary was inspired by his own reactions to homeless people he saw on the street. He says he wanted to challenge his "lazy mind" with questions like, "Why am I assuming they're probably an alcoholic or a drug addict? Why am I assuming that they have mental problems? Why am I assuming that they don't want to work?"

The Break features a score from The Edge as well as a theme song called "No Home Like Place."
