ELO Redux.

ELO: More Reissues

Jeff Lynne continues to tinker with the Electric Light Orchestra catalog. This time, he's reissuing one more album and releasing -- for the first time on CD -- a live album.

  • Electric Light Orchestra Live is taken from a 2001 performance for a PBS television special in Los Angeles, which was released as a DVD that same year. It was actually just Lynne performing as ELO. He had planned to tour as ELO that year, but canceled after believing he could fill arenas.
  • The other release is the 2001 album Zoom, which now has bonus tracks -- "One Day," recorded in 2004, and live versions of “Turn to Stone” from 2001's Zoom PBS special.
  • Lynne is also reissuing his first solo album, 1990’s Armchair Theatre, which contains contributions from two of his Traveling Wilburys bandmates, Tom Petty and George Harrison.

All three albums will be out on April 23rd
