End to An Era.

Steve Howe has announced he's leaving Asia.

The guitarist issued a statement saying, "Myself and the band wish to thank their fans for the enthusiasm shown during the original members' reunion. I will continue with Yes, and with my trio and solo guitar work. I wish my friends continued success."

Howe re-joined the original lineup with John Wetton, Geoff Downes and Carl Palmer in 2006. The band has announced that Sam Coulson will be his replacement and that a new album called Valkyrie will be released later this year.
