PINK FLOYD: Gilmour Makes Surprise Appearance |
|
Pink Floyd singer-guitarist David Gilmour made a surprise appearance at a 60th birthday gathering for late Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy author Douglas Adams Sunday in London. Gilmour joined the house band for the event to do "Wish You Were Here," then stayed on stage to play guitar for the final two songs -- a cover of Chuck Berry's "Too Much Monkey Business" and Procol Harem's "A White Shade of Pale" sung by Gary Brooker.
